Ronnie would like to work with Liberty (see what I did? Would / Wood? Ha!)

Everyone’s favourite shop, Liberty of London, has announced an unexpected collaboration between Creative Director, Tamara Salman, and the naughty rock star Ronnie Wood. The collection translates a selection of Ronnie’s paintings from canvas into prints on leather, cotton, jersey, foil and nylon.

If you’re a global jetsetter like I, you’ll be glad to know that the collection is available worldwide at Liberty and Harrods in London, Isetan and United Arrows in Japan, Brown Thomas in Ireland, Corso Como in Italy and Seoul and Traffic, USA. And for the more lazy among us you can also shop online at the Liberty website:

I’m not too sold on the clothes, especially the menswear – the ‘I feel like painting’ shirt feels a tiny bit 80s wine bar. But I do love love love the scarves – in particular, the navy guitar scarf (pictures below). I think the clothes are just a bit too full on for sensitive old me, but the scarves provide a slightly more subtle way to wear the designs. Would be interested to know what y’all think and if you’d be brave enough to go all out in one of the shirts / dresses and how you’d wear them.
