Hannah Marshall strayed from her usual black and white, adding a couple of pieces in royal blue. Strong shoulders were accompanied by spikes featured both on the clothes and in the jewellery. According to Hannah, these are a fight back against a big brother society.
Big shouldered jackets were a bit of a feature, worn fairly long and without anything else. There were also a few catsuits – these were my least favourite pieces as they appeared a bit ill-fitted. This may be what happens when you put super tight clothes on someone with not much for the outfit to cling on to. A beautiful Erin O’Connor wore a gorgeous black bustier with black sequins on the boob area.
I loved the boldness of the collection, and the gorgeous royal blue really stood out. Backstage, Hannah was a sweetheart, with none of the pretentions or stress that you would expect from a successful designer. And I want Erin O’Connor to be my best friend.
